Lake Wentworth Inn

The majority of the guests at my son's wedding (9/27/25) stayed at the Lake Wentworth Inn. We had so many unsolicited positive comments about their stay that I had to write a review. They remembered a special request from when the reservation was made a year prior, greeted everyone with a smile, provided clean & comfortable rooms with doors to the back lawn, coffee & snacks in the spacious lobby ... just an all-over wonderful experience and I highly recommend!

This place was a delight, specifically the staff. The rooms are a bit small, but were sparkling clean when we arrived and were what we had expected. I cannot speak more highly about the staff there. There was a mistake with my reservation which was 100% my fault, and we were coming for the weekend for a wedding. The two women I spoke with on the phone were kind, understanding, and didn't make me feel like a fool even though I had made the mistake. They were polite and solution driven to help me and my fiancé figure something out. They had every right to tell me "too bad", and not once did I get that feeling. With a little bit of luck and their strong attention to detail, we were still able to get a room and it worked our perfectly. It's clear they care deeply about their guest's experience. And it was only a 5 minute drive from town, even better!

We enjoyed are short stay. The minute we walked in we were greeted by Terri and Cocoa. Gave us lots of info. Our room was perfect. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Coffee available with light snacks. We were there to attend the high school play Cinderella. Our grandson was performing in the play. Perfect place. Will plan on staying again.

Great little spot! Super clean and nicely renovated. Staff is super helpful and incredibly nice. What a lovely little story of the place.

Cute but old inn that works well for one or two people in a room. Rooms are small, but clean and updated. Beds are decent but not great. Light shines in through the back window illuminating the room at night. I wish the back doors had curtains to block this or a way to turn off the porch light outside the rooms at night. Showers never get hot. They are cold or room temperature at best.

Terri at the front desk is amazing. We recently had a house fire and are staying here temporarily and her and Tammy have been more than helpful!!! The rooms are nice and the game room is fun!!!! Great place to stay!!!!!

We’ve stayed there On three different occasions and I’ve never seen a hotel so well kept in clean in my life. They have a game room That has something for every age. Their hospitality is off the wall. We’re gonna make a point of it to go there every year. Dennis and Donna Dion.

Beautiful hotel located in the quaint town of Wolfeboro. A lot of options for attractions, sight seeing, & restaurants. The check in with the wonderful woman behind the desk was seamless & she explained all the amenities at the hotel. I would definitely return!
